John Lewis It’s a Knockout and Family Fun Day

Repeat Booking After organising a very successful family fun day in Sheffield for 600 staff from John Lewis with dragon boat racing as its focus, Gable Events was re-booked in 2007 to run a similar fun day at Tatton Park, Cheshire with It’s a Knockout as the centrepiece.
Gable Events Role Working to a £20,000 budget, Gable Events took care of every aspect of the John Lewis Fun Day. As well as running the its a knockout, this included full liaison with Tatton Park providing all the necessary risk assessments and health and safety documentation, sourcing and booking caterers and contracting of all of the side entertainments.
Another Big Success! John Lewis staff enjoyed a full range of activities including funfair, entertainers, craft workshops, circus skills, stilt walkers, shooting activities, Victorian sidestalls, climbing wall and inflatables. The day was capped off with a tremendous firework display and even though Cheshire seemed to be the only place in the UK which wasn’t bathed in brilliant sunshine that day, the consensus was that no one present would rather have been anywhere else!
